What area does your research focus on?

My research is focused on Ethics of AI & Big Data, especially from an environmental perspective, as well as the philosophy of logic and the nature (and limitations) of formalisation and modelling.

What are the other key aspects of your role?

I am a module convener for the Ethics & Bias in Data Science module in the Masters of Data Science. I also am the module convenor for Formal & Philosophical Logic as well as provide dissertation supervision and guest lectures across philosophy UG and PG courses. 

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I am a photographer, podcaster and stand-up comedian. I also have a passion for LEGO, in all forms.

  • Navigating research spaces as a neurodivergent person (ADHD).
