Mental Health

Supporting the mental health and wellbeing needs of racially and ethnically minoritised students (REMS) is essential. We know that such students are likely to experience a number of barriers in their education journey, many of which start to become increasingly complex in higher education and are compounded by racism, white supremacy, and the longstanding legacies of colonialism.  This strand will work on offering relevant mental wellbeing and psychological wellbeing support for racially and ethnically minoritised students across 5 universities in the North East.
