What area does your research focus on?

My scholarship focuses on inclusivity in the classroom and creating a decolonised curriculum to hear the voices of silenced/unheard people.

What are the other key aspects of your role?

I am a module convenor for French modules in MLAC/CFLS. I am also part of EDI focus group.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love reading and discussing the books with like-minded people. I practise yoga and taekwondo and am a keen language learner. Music is part of my life, so I enjoy listening to hip hop, RNB and West Indian music.

What do you think you could particularly offer mentoring support with?

Lending an ear to any issues related to navigating through a white dominated university/city and offering support to deal with any issues that might arise. Discuss and help wherever I can with their research.
