What area does your research focus on?

Various: health and wellbeing, migration, public and policy engagement, qualitative research.

What are the other key aspects of your role?

Presently I am the Action Learning Research Associate at INE, but I have my own research interests presently working in partnership to scale up a recent community participatory research project that I led as a PI. But I’ve had experience in a variety of projects, both starting from scratch to finish, as well as filling vacancies midway, with steep learning curves.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Listen to Radio 4, read, play my piano, gardening, running, visiting friends, and travelling.

What do you think you could particularly offer mentoring support with?

• Offering a listening ear;
• help in navigating some of the ins and outs of being a postgrad e.g., managing your supervisors;
• seeing the ‘wood for the trees’ in writing up;
• signposting to additional support;
• preparing for conferences and publications
