What area does your research focus on?

Political geographies of childhood and youth; feminist political geography.

What are the other key aspects of your role?

PGR Director for Geography.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I play the sax in a band, I enjoy getting out into the countryside with my dog, volunteering with various local organisations, learning languages and reading.

What do you think you could particularly offer mentoring support with?

I have developed a little experience mentoring folks at different career stages – as part of this I’m learning more about what makes a good mentor, and how to listen and offer appropriate advice/support. I’d like to think these experiences can inform the mentoring support I can offer.
