What area does your research focus on?
My research focuses on basic and translational research related to cancer biomarker discovery and therapeutic interventions, aiming to improve diagnosis and current treatments for cancer patients.
What are the other key aspects of your role?
- Conducting research in the cancer field underpinning interdisciplinary collaborative work.
- Training and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate (PhD/MRes/MSc) students.
- Course leadership of the MSc in Cancer and Molecular Diagnostics.
- Developing and delivering modules that span main disciplines of cancer pathobiology, diagnostics and therapeutics and clinical biochemistry
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy travelling, cooking, and listening to music.
