What area does your research focus on?

My research looks at strategy-as-practice, that is the doing of strategy. I explore the process of how actors engage in strategy making when they draw on creative and novel approaches such as play and also the value outcomes arising from this process.

What are the other key aspects of your role?

I teach across four different modules, ranging from first year undergraduate module to final year modules. I also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student dissertations. Alongside my teaching I continue to engage in research within the strategy-as-practice field and I have several papers I am currently working on.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I’m a keen grade 8 pianist and I’m a regular attendee at my local spin class. I enjoy learning about different cultures, beliefs and trying different cuisines. When time permits, I also like exploring different cities!

What do you think you could particularly offer mentoring support with?
  • Navigating through university life and ‘finding yourself’
  • Discovering your research passion and being able to contribute to that area both in theory and in practice
  • Inspiring students from all backgrounds as an early career female in academia
  • Providing support and understanding relating to the challenges of academia as someone who has recently been through the academic journey herself
