Assistant Professor in Psychology
What area does your research focus on?
My research primarily examines and leverages the strengths, capacities, and traits/virtues of individuals and groups to design and evaluate positive psychology and health behaviour change intervention programmes, with the overarching goal of promoting mental health, building resilience, and optimising functioning.
What are the other key aspects of your role?
I teach and examine courses in applied health, positive psychology, and clinical psychology to graduate students at Northumbria University and the University of Ghana. I also supervise graduate students in their research projects related to applied mental health.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I spend my leisure hours reading, running, and cooking. I also enjoy listening to music and spending time with my family.
